(Acworth, Ga. – July 18, 2016)
Students in Chattahoochee Technical College’s Paramedicine program, which is located on the North Metro Campus in Acworth, trained for trauma scenarios in real time on Monday, July 18. Under the direction of CTC instructor Clay Cowley, students Max Lockett, Tiffany Payne, Jamie Bernal III and Kyle Holmes applied the skills they have learned up to this point on a mock trauma patient. The students, who are on track to finish the program in the spring, were required to perform an initial assessment of the scene, as well as patient and trauma assessments.
