Chattahoochee Technical College will host an open house event on Wednesday, Sept. 14, celebrating recent renovations to the library, Student Success Center and Barbering lab located on the Marietta Campus, 980 S. Cobb Drive.
Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to stop by Building D from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to see the updated facilities.
“This event is a good opportunity to see the new space, learn where we are located on campus, meet the staff and learn about all the services and resources we offer,” Director of Libraries Leigh Hall said. “After nine months in temporary spaces, we really want to show off the new space and make sure everyone knows where to find us. We hope our new layouts foster better access to our resources and services, which in turn leads to student success.”
The renovations for the library and Student Success Center range from new furniture to group study rooms and easier access to the library’s collection. The Barbering lab is equipped with world-class equipment that puts students front-and-center in a simulated barber shop.
