Dozens of Chattahoochee Tech students as well as members of the community participated in the college’s 2019 Fall Career Fair held Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Marietta Campus.

“A lot of the companies here are hiring for multiple positions, so I would say from this event we’re looking at 20 to 30 of our students being hired. That is a really good number!” said Chattahoochee Tech Career Services Coordinator Davia Woulard. “Some of these employment opportunities are seasonal positions that students can have while they’re in school, and there are some positions related to their programs of study.”

The 2019 Fall Career Fair was a partnership between the college’s Office of Student Resources and the nonprofit organization CareSource, noted Woulard. CareSource is a nationally recognized leader in providing public health care programs. The CareSource Director of State Development and Advocacy is Jason Anavitarte, of Paulding County, who also serves as Chairman of the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation Board of Trustees.

Included among the companies participating in the 2019 Fall Career Fair were: CarMax, Children’s Development Academy, the City of Atlanta, Chic-fil-A, Cobb County, Coca-Cola, Construction Ready, Employ Now, Fastpak, Goodwill, Home2 Suites by Hilton, Juvo, Pilgrim’s, Six Flags, Southeastrans, SunPet, and Zaxby’s.
