The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation invites supporters to secure tickets soon for the nonprofit organization’s Reverse Raffle fundraiser slated for Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Chattahoochee Technical College North Metro Campus in Acworth.
“We only have 300 tickets available for this popular event, and they will go fast,” said Stephanie Hubbell, the college’s director for Alumni and Annual Giving. “All proceeds will go directly to helping students in need at Chattahoochee Tech,” said Hubbell. “This is a great opportunity for community members to come together for a fun time while also contributing to a very worthy cause.”
Reverse Raffle tickets are $100 each and include admission for two, dinner and a chance for the $5,000 grand prize. In a Reverse Raffle, the purchaser of the last ticket drawn wins the grand prize. A limited number of sponsorships also are available for this event.
“This year’s goal is to net $35,000 through the Reverse Raffle,” said Hubbell. “Through the efforts of the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation, a record amount of $104,769 in scholarship funding and $7,355 in emergency funding was issued to Chattahoochee Tech students in 2017.”
The Chattahoochee Tech Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports the mission of Chattahoochee Technical College by making higher education an affordable reality for students through initiatives like scholarships, emergency funding and program support.
